Dr. Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) kept trying to get his patient, Ava Jerome (Maura West), to state where a tick had bitten her because he needed to report the incident to the Public Health Department. Gannon accepted Jerome’s vague explanation about a dog and sent her on her way.

The transplant surgeon then checked in with his girlfriend, Dr. Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr), and assured her that he had only one more patient to see before they could go home.

Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) confronted Brook Lynn Quartermaine-Chase (Amanda Setton) in front of everyone at the Quartermaine Labor Day party, asking if she was the infamous “other driver” involved in the Ashford car accident. When Quartermaine-Chase confirmed the truth of the accusation, Trina Robinson, her boyfriend, Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup), and Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) took her to task.

They considered the music manager’s prolonged silence as the catalyst for Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) assaulting Dr. Gannon and “ruining his life.” Disgusted by the cover-up, Trina Robinson stormed out with Taylor right behind her.

Jordan Ashford also stepped out, turning to Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson), a fellow burn victim, to help her process the turmoil from the night of her car wreck. The newly appointed Aurora Media CEO also worried that her colleague had hired her out of pity because he secretly knew about Quartermaine-Chase’s guilt. Corinthos denied this and declared that the company needed Jordan Ashford.

Dr. Gannon and Dr. Robinson prepared to leave the hospital after excitedly looking at a picture of Desmond Robinson-Ashford, but Trina Robinson and Taylor waylaid them with their news. The young couple said they now knew who was driving the other car in Curtis and Jordan Ashford’s accident.

Dr. Gannon and Dr. Robinson were shocked when Trina Robinson and Taylor revealed that Quartermaine-Chase was the “other driver,” involved in the car accident that haunted all their lives. The songstress and her boyfriend recapped how they found everything out at the Quartermaine Labor Day celebration, and they speculated about how much blame lay at the Deception Cosmetics executive’s feet.

The former General Hospital chief of staff still felt her ex-husband was solely responsible for his actions, and her daughter apologized to Gannon for ever entertaining the idea that he had been the driver who knowingly left the Ashfords to die on that fateful April night. Trina Robinson expressed gratitude that her mother had Gannon supporting and caring for her.

The mother-daughter duo then embraced. Afterward, Trina Robinson and Taylor wondered whether finally knowing the truth would help Curtis Ashford move forward. The Port Charles University graduate also wanted to cease her budding music career. She felt that Quartermaine-Chase had only taken her on out of guilt about the accident.

In private, Dr. Gannon doubted that this new revelation would ease Curtis Ashford’s animosity toward him. The woman he loves encouraged him to hope for the best as they continued building their life together.

Dr. Robinson assured the transplant surgeon that her ex-husband couldn’t do any damage from prison. The couple then left the hospital hand in hand, and Trina Robinson and Taylor did the same.

Trina Robinson struggled to write song lyrics on her couch as she recalled the events that took place on Labor Day. When Giovanni Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) arrived to check on his music partner, he listened as she said that her father wouldn’t have punched Dr. Gannon had Quartermaine-Chase come forward.

When the former violinist wondered how they would move past their current predicament, Trina Robinson said she had no anger toward him and was grateful for their friendship.

Meanwhile, at General Hospital, Dr. Nichols (Kearran Giovanni) introduced herself to Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Felicia Jones (Kristina Wagner) as Devane’s new therapist.

At Pentonville Penitentiary, Curtis Ashford was surprised but pleased to receive a visit from Jordan Ashford. His partner explained that she had called in a favor to see him as soon as possible.

The couple updated each other on their lives. The former police commissioner was appalled to learn that her former employer, Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota), was Curtis Ashford’s cellmate.

Jordan Ashford then broke the news that Quartermaine-Chase was the other driver they’d been looking for the entire time. The former Aurora Media CEO was stunned and laid the blame for his predicament at Quartermaine-Chase’s feet.

Meanwhile, Trina Robinson slammed her apartment door in her manager’s face, not wanting to hear any apologies. Nevertheless, she let Quartermaine-Chase in and kept casting doubt on her explanations.

The Jerome Gallery assistant couldn’t comprehend why Quartermaine-Chase wasted so many opportunities to come forward about her involvement in the Ashfords’ car accident. Trina Robinson continued to blame the Deception Cosmetics shareholder for her father assaulting Dr. Gannon and going to jail.

Trina Robinson also said that she could no longer enjoy music because she believed this new career stemmed from Quartermaine-Chase’s guilt. Ultimately, the songstress didn’t think she could ever forgive her manager.

The newly appointed WSB Chief, William Baines (Alimi Ballard), met with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) to learn more about Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) being MIA. Recognizing the vitriol Spencer had for Brennan, Chief Baines wondered whether she or Cassadine was behind the disappearance.
