Dr. Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) made his way to a new patient in critical condition: Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner). The transplant surgeon offered to get his adversary another doctor despite an impatient Pentonville guard’s protests, but Curtis Ashford consented to treatment from Dr. Gannon.

Dr. Gannon also threw Police Commissioner Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) out of Jenz Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) room because the patient was in no condition to answer questions. The renowned surgeon worked with Nurse Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) to treat Sidwell’s injuries.

As the former Aurora Media CEO laid in his hospital bed, Dr. Gannon provided updates. Curtis Ashford seemed to only have broken ribs, but Dr. Gannon believed more scans were necessary.

Curtis Ashford didn’t want any of his loved ones called so they wouldn’t worry. Dr. Gannon then barred Detective Joe Fitzpatrick (Jonathan Bennett) from questioning The Savoy owner until he was comfortable talking.

Later, Detective Fitzpatrick returned alongside Assistant District Attorney Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) to get the statement they needed. Curtis Ashford repeated his attackers’ words implicating Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) in orchestrating the ambush.

Dr. Gannon returned to his other patient and former foe, Sidwell, quickly moving from a tense conversation to life-saving maneuvers when the convict went into ventricular fibrillation.

Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) and Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) were talking business at the Aurora Media office, but the newly named CEO was clearly distracted. When Jordan Ashford was asked if she was in pain, she brushed it off as a phantom ache even as she inwardly recalled Monet Mitchell’s (Blythe Howard) insults.

Michael Corinthos then suggested the former deputy mayor go abroad to further the company’s European dealings, but Jordan Ashford hesitated, self-conscious about their French colleagues seeing her face.

The Aurora Media CEO admitted that her recent run-in with her sister had brought her insecurities back to the surface, and she hated how others now looked at her with pity. The conversation halted when Jordan Ashford received a phone call with shocking news.

Curtis Ashford struggled to move in the hospital bed he was handcuffed to. When Turner and Fitzpatrick arrived to go over his statement once again, he doubled down that his assailants name-dropped Sonny Corinthos.

Mitchell surprised the former private investigator by visiting as his legal representation. The Miller & Davis attorney felt Curtis Ashford needed her expertise after reading up on his recent court case, and she decided that he didn’t need to “accept” the outcome.

Curtis Ashford was suspicious of Mitchell’s interest in appealing his sentence, but Webber interrupted before they could discuss everything further. Jordan Ashford then arrived at her boyfriend’s bedside and learned he’d been attacked, presumably thanks to a mob hit.

Jordan Ashford couldn’t understand why Sonny Corinthos would go after her romantic partner when they had no bad blood, and the mob boss was allegedly out of the business. Curtis Ashford explained that he’d been caught in the crossfire for a hit on Sidwell. The former police commissioner was furious and wanted Sonny Corinthos to face consequences.

When she got back to the Aurora Media office, Jordan Ashford updated Michael Corinthos about Curtis Ashford’s accusation, naming his father as the responsible party for the attack in Pentonville. The Aurora Media executive doubted his father’s involvement and wanted to help, but Jordan Ashford wanted to let the PCPD handle it.

When Michael Corinthos urged her to go to Germany, Jordan Ashford was appalled, but she learned it wasn’t about business. The Deception Cosmetics shareholder had instead gotten his business partner a scar-removal consultation at the Baden-Baden burn clinic.

Curtis Ashford soon became irritated by a visit from Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst), as he didn’t want to hear any apologies or explanations the attorney made on his brother’s behalf. The Savoy owner refused to retract his statement and declared that he’d never forget who was responsible for putting him in the hospital.

Curtis Ashford learned from Dr. Tristan Roberts (Dean Geyer) that he had no internal bleeding or injuries that necessitated a continued stay at the hospital. The former Aurora Media CEO was disappointed since, compared to prison, General Hospital was like a “5-star hotel.”

Surprised, Curtis Ashford received a visit from Congresswoman Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen). He quickly surmised that the congresswoman was there to use his statement against Sonny Corinthos for personal gain, which he was willing to do only if Tait convinced the governor to vacate his prison sentence.

Meanwhile, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) met with Giovanni Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) at her home and revealed she could not practice their music, as her father had been beaten and hospitalized. Though Palmieri consoled her, the songstress blamed his grandfather for the incident.

Palmieri couldn’t wrap his head around the accusation since Sonny Corinthos had promised to change his ways. However, Trina Robinson was certain her father wasn’t wrong. The Port Charles University graduate urged her friend to visit his grandfather and advocate for Curtis Ashford’s life.

Later on, Trina Robinson ran into Congresswoman Tait outside her father’s hospital room. Tait then pulled strings to cut down the singer’s wait time. Trina Robinson and Curtis Ashford were grateful to be reunited despite the circumstances. The father-daughter duo promised each other to stay safe.

Jordan Ashford met with Turner at the Metro Court rooftop restaurant and demanded to know what the acting district attorney planned to do about her secret boyfriend putting Curtis Ashford in the hospital. The Aurora Media CEO was appalled that Turner could disregard Sonny Corinthos’ misdeeds.

After Michael Corinthos interrupted the conversation, he once again suggested that Jordan Ashford go to Germany. However, the former SRE Worldwide COO refused to go to the burn clinic because she had to focus on Curtis Ashford.

Michael Corinthos disagreed, urging Jordan Ashford to take this step in reclaiming her identity. The Deception Cosmetics shareholder also told his business partner that Curtis Ashford wouldn’t want her holding herself back for him.

Trina Robinson arrived back home, and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) could tell something was bothering her best friend. The Jerome Gallery assistant explained what had happened to her father in prison and who was presumably to blame.

The furious roommates vented about Sonny Corinthos and the havoc he wreaked on innocent people over the years. When Jacks swore to take her ex-stepdad down at any cost, Trina Robinson promised to cheer her on.

Viewers can watch “General Hospital” Monday through Friday, airing on ABC at 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. EST.
