William Baines (Alimi Ballard) urged Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) to cooperate with the WSB’s shutdown of one of the Metro Court floors, since it was tied to the disappearance of Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) and Spencer had personally implicated Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) in the crime. Baines pointed out how enmeshed the hotel owner was with the WSB between her daughter, current boyfriend and missing ex. He then left without trying to cause more trouble.

Later, the WSB agent visited Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) at her home to confirm her attempt on Dr. Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) life. Though Devane was ready to be taken into custody, Baines assured her and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) that she would stay free as long as she agreed to the WSB’s terms.  

Baines then answered a summons from Congresswoman Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen), who wanted to know what she could do to get her mother returned to Port Charles following her extradition.

Meanwhile, Dr. Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) found a despondent Westbourne in the General Hospital breakroom and urged her to head out, but she was focused on her lack of a support system. Dr. Gannon listened sympathetically as the OB-GYN talked through her ongoing trauma, victimization and self-blame.

The transplant surgeon shared his personal experiences volunteering in Africa, explaining how being placed in an out-of-control situation could lead people to behave differently than they normally would. Dr. Gannon also encouraged his colleague to believe she had tried her best, regardless of what others thought.

Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) met up with her friend, Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor), for drinks at the Brown Dog. The former police commissioner assured Turner that she understood why Brook Lynn Quartermaine-Chase (Amanda Setton) hadn’t faced harsher consequences for her role in the Ashford car accident. Instead, the Aurora Media CEO wanted to focus on moving forward.

With that goal in mind, Jordan Ashford was ready to support her friend’s upcoming campaign for District Attorney publicly. She also urged Turner to prepare for intense scrutiny. When a work matter came up, the duo cut their outing short. 

Jordan Ashford was then in for a shock when she caught Turner kissing Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) outside the bar.

Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) was elated to receive a visit in Pentonville from Dr. Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) and their son, Desmond Robinson-Ashford. Dr. Robinson had used her connections with the warden to bring their baby boy in.

As the prisoner cradled his son, Dr. Robinson explained the steps she’d taken to ensure their youngest child knew him. After he had learned who the real “other driver” was in his car accident, Curtis Ashford expressed regret over assaulting Dr. Gannon. Still, he wanted to ensure there was no confusion about who Robinson-Ashford’s father was.

Curtis Ashford and his son enjoyed a couple more moments with Dr. Robinson before the visit ended. Another inmate then came in and warned the former Aurora Media CEO not to be in his cell after lunch.

When Giovanni Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) updated Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) about the incessant messages and phone calls he’d received from Simon Craft (Grady Eldridge), the songwriter revealed she’d blocked their label executive. Trina Robinson explained her desire to purge Quartermaine-Chase’s influence from her life, including quitting music.

After Palmieri was ready to quit in solidarity, his mother arrived to ask the duo to reconsider. Trina Robinson ultimately decided to keep pursuing a music career but without Quartermaine-Chase as her manager.

Miller & Davis’ newest attorney, Monet Mitchell (Blythe Howard), met with Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) to discuss his separation from his wife. Though the detective was unsure whether he was ready to seek a divorce, his lawyer assured him that she would fight for his legal interests.

Mitchell recommended that Chase move back onto the Quartermaine property, and she declared that she was ready to battle the affluent and infamous family to secure shared custody. The lawyer then visited Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) to advocate for Chase formally.

Meanwhile, Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) was interrupted during his workout by Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), who had noticed Taylor’s distance from him. The former political intern stated that he wanted no part in Drew Cain and Congresswoman Tait’s toxic drama.

Despite Taylor’s desire to end the conversation, his former boss wanted to discuss why he stayed silent about Congresswoman Tait’s attempted murder. Drew Cain then offered the former Port Charles University quarterback a job at Aurora Media because Taylor had kept the internship to look out for Scout Cain (Kayden Brenna Tokarski). However, Taylor was not interested and declined.

Mitchell encouraged Tracy Quartermaine to listen to her pitch for Chase to continue living at the Quartermaine estate. The Quartermaine matriarch was a bit combative, but Mitchell fearlessly threatened legal escalation and held her ground.

Jordan Ashford met with Turner to discuss seeing the acting district attorney’s passionate kiss with Sonny Corinthos. The former deputy mayor worried about her friend’s professional career and advised a more covert relationship if Turner insisted on continuing the romance.

Once Turner left, the Aurora Media CEO talked with Cain as she waited for Adam Riordan. After her fellow business colleague was a no-show, Jordan Ashford got ready to leave, but ran into Mitchell, who revealed herself as the former police commissioner’s little sister.

Jordan Ashford couldn’t believe Mitchell was in town after all these years and said she was still as “insecure” as ever. Despite Mitchell’s barbs, the former SRE Worldwide COO wanted to know why her sister was in Port Charles.

The attorney continued sniping about her older sister’s scarred face and need for attention before bragging about her successful legal career. When Jordan Ashford insinuated that it wasn’t a coincidence they were both in the same city now, Mitchell asserted that her sibling was conceited.

The lawyer then took her leave. Having noticed the tense encounter from afar, Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) joined Jordan Ashford’s table to check on her. The Aurora Media CEO vented about her younger sister.

Meanwhile, Curtis Ashford told Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) to go to the Pentonville warden after the warning he’d gotten from another prisoner. The media mogul rejected his cellmate’s request to act as a bodyguard.

Curtis Ashford then returned to his cell and witnessed Sidwell being brutally assaulted and almost gashed with a switchblade. When the Savoy owner intervened, he was jumped by the attackers, who had come on Sonny Corinthos’ behalf.
