WSB Agent William Baines (Alimi Ballard) approached Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) at the Metro Court’s rooftop restaurant to discuss Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) and the public altercation she had with the former WSB director. Baines remained suspicious as Reeves explained her complicated relationship with Brennan.

Baines informed the Crimson Magazine editor-in-chief that Brennan was missing. He then made it clear that she could be a suspect in his disappearance.

Later, the veteran WSB agent met with Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) to discuss business. During the conversation, Jacks informed her new boss about Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) suffering a mental breakdown and almost killing Dr. Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud).

Back at the WSB office, Agent Baines continued intel gathering with Jacks. He sought the former Port Charles University student’s opinion on Reeves’ dynamic with Brennan, then dismissed her after listening to her insights. On the phone, Baines asked an employee to gather evidence for a warrant as soon as possible so he could arrest a suspect for attempted murder.

Baines interrupted Reeves’ Metro Court dinner with Ava Jerome (Maura West) to arrest her for the disappearance and possible murder of Jack Brennan. The agent ignored protests from Reeves and Jerome, then led the hysterical Crimson Magazine editor-in-chief out in view of several hotel patrons.

At the Aurora Media office, Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) got off a business call and showed off her knowledge of French to Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson). When Corinthos expressed surprise that his business partner had still come to work after what happened at the Labor Day party, the Aurora Media CEO explained that her knowledge of Brook Lynn Quartermaine-Chase’s (Amanda Setton) involvement in the car accident didn’t change anything. Ultimately, Jordan Ashford knew she needed to move on.

When the music manager arrived to apologize, Jordan Ashford affirmed that the car wreck was her own fault because of distracted driving, not Quartermaine-Chase’s. The former SRE Worldwide COO also insisted that Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) was responsible for his subsequent actions in attacking Dr. Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson).

Focused on healing, Jordan Ashford told Quartermaine-Chase that she needed to move forward as well and help the former private investigator come home early if the opportunity arose.

Meanwhile, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) visited her father in Pentonville, still angry that he was imprisoned instead of raising her baby brother at home. The father-daughter duo discussed their feelings about how responsible Quartermaine-Chase was for Curtis Ashford’s predicament.

While Trina Robinson believed her former manager hadn’t knowingly left the scene of an accident, she held her responsible for covering it up after the fact and offering a music career out of guilt. The former Aurora Media CEO was proud that his daughter stood up for herself. Despite his anger towards the Quartermaines, Curtis Ashford didn’t want Trina Robinson throwing away her musical gift.

Later on, Reeves demanded her right to speak to an attorney, and Baines reminded her that she was under WSB custody. Nevertheless, he allowed Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) in to see his client.

Agent Baines questioned Reeves after he found Brennan’s wallet in her car and revealed that the WSB had enough evidence to extradite her. Afterward, he informed Police Commissioner Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) about his plans, much to everyone’s horror.

Jordan Ashford left a voicemail for Corinthos as she waited for Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) to arrive at the Metro Court for a meeting. When the former congressman appeared and brought up his cousin’s involvement with her car accident, Jordan Ashford brushed off ideas of revenge. Instead, the former deputy mayor wanted Quartermaine-Chase to use her family’s influence to get Curtis Ashford out of jail as soon as possible.

When Cain offered to save his former friend, Jordan Ashford wondered what he would want in return. Though wary, the former SRE Worldwide COO then accepted Cain’s explanation that he was genuinely trying to repair his friendships.
