Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali), uncomfortable with the romantic spot Quinn (Jequan Jackson) had taken her to, wanted to leave immediately. Although the songstress was frightened, Quinn continued offering vague excuses for why she couldn’t leave and even took her phone.

As Trina Robinson attempted to defend herself, Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) arrived. After his girlfriend rushed into his arms, Taylor revealed that Quinn had helped him prepare the romantic getaway for Trina Robinson, specifically getting her to the Airbnb.

When Quinn confirmed that Taylor was supposed to be waiting for him and Trina Robinson when they arrived, the former quarterback apologized for bungling the surprise and “forgetting the champagne.” Quinn was happy to leave the lovebirds alone and fix the songwriter’s car, which he’d sabotaged to pull off the ruse.

After finally being alone, Taylor explained that he wanted to do something special for Trina Robinson because she was balancing her dad’s injury, her music career and becoming a big sister for the first time. The young couple made love and then discussed moving in together one day. They both agreed that while waiting, they’d get a chance to look forward to finding their own home and keep their romantic getaways going.

Dr. Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) prepared to bring Dr. Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) “dessert in bed,” but Dr. Robinson came downstairs, knowing her lover would forget the ice cream. The couple cuddled on the couch and discussed the General Hospital mixer, Dr. Gannon’s hope of returning to the O.R. soon and how wonderful their lives had been recently.

Monet Mitchell (Blythe Howard) met with Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) at the Miller & Davis law office. Mitchell was still confident she could win an appeal for Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner), whom she dubbed her “family” through Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper). Davis hoped her new hire was right but cautioned her against using Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) in her strategy.

Ready for bed, Dr. Robinson and Dr. Gannon were puzzled when Mitchell knocked on the door and announced that she was Curtis Ashford’s appellate attorney. The doctors were irked by Mitchell’s invasive questions but ultimately agreed not to stand in the way of her trying to get the club owner released from prison.

Portia Robinson had reservations about Mitchell’s request that she join a media interview to repair her ex-husband’s image. However, the Robinson matriarch ultimately agreed as long as Curtis Ashford stopped resisting Dr. Gannon’s presence in her life.

After the Miller & Davis attorney left, Dr. Robinson told her boyfriend that she hoped this goodwill gesture would make Curtis Ashford realize he “owed” them. Outside Portia Robinson’s door, Mitchell called Davis and bragged about getting everything she wanted.

Stella Henry (Vernée Watson-Johnson) met with Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) and Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) to discuss the ongoing HR problem presented by Dr. Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud). Henry was concerned about the OB-GYN’s continued mistreatment of staff, particularly the nurses, and felt an intervention was necessary.

While meeting with Dr. Westbourne, the General Hospital chief administrator was shocked to find her uncharacteristically peppy, apologetic and accommodating. To her colleagues, Henry suggested alien abduction or spirit possession as possible explanations for Dr. Westbourne’s new attitude.

Mitchell and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) prepared to meet with Chase’s estranged wife, Brook Lynn Quartermaine-Chase (Amanda Setton), and her attorney. Mitchell understood her client’s wish for an amicable separation but suggested he let her be the “bad guy” if needed. The Miller & Davis attorney was adamant they needed to aim high on issues like child support because their opponents would do the same before a middle ground could be reached in the divorce “war.”

Once Quartermaine-Chase and Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) arrived, Lansing and Mitchell traded elaborate demands and barbs about the other’s client until Quartermaine-Chase demanded a halt to the proceedings.

Meanwhile, Jordan Ashford anxiously awaited her meeting with the Baden-Baden burn clinic’s doctors as Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) tried to calm her. When the former deputy mayor told Corinthos about her medical history, he worried that he had led her to Germany for nothing. Jordan Ashford assured her colleague that she was grateful for the opportunity, even if things didn’t pan out.

After her consultation, the Aurora Media CEO was thrilled to announce she’d been accepted into the experimental scar-removal process. Jordan Ashford was eager to get started and gladly accepted Corinthos’ offer to stay through her first treatment.

Trina Robinson walked into the Jerome Gallery and told Ava Jerome (Maura West) about the spontaneous romantic getaway her boyfriend planned for her the night before. Despite the elaborate scheme, Trina Robinson declared she was lucky to have Taylor in her life.

After admiring a collection of photography from Joel Sartore with Jerome, the songstress quietly pondered the mysterious bouquet of roses she’d received while she was away.

When Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) arrived, Trina Robinson shared her fears about a possible creepy fan. Thanks to Scorpio-Drake’s sleuthing, the art historian learned that “Alan Smith” sent both bouquets of roses. However, the duo agreed the name could be an alias.

Scorpio-Drake and Trina Robinson then turned to the internet and found an unsettling fan site filled with pictures of the singer, including personal ones from her social media that dated back years.

Mitchell met with Congresswoman Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen), who wanted to hire her despite their frosty introduction. The Miller & Davis attorney first wanted to know why her boss had warned her about representing the congresswoman.

After getting a glimpse into her new client’s checkered past with Davis and Cain, Mitchell once again faced off with Lansing, this time on Congresswoman Tait’s behalf against Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins). Mitchell refused to back down, demanding that Spencer retract her article and pay $2 million in damages. Lansing and Spencer declined the settlement and told Mitchell and Congresswoman Tait that they’d see them in court.
