Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) and Acting District Attorney Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) discussed the frustrations surrounding the SRE Worldwide COO and Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) car accident.

Turner apologized for not having answers, and Jordan Ashford admitted that finding the other driver wouldn’t change the fact that she had caused the wreck by driving into the wrong lane. The former police commissioner wished that her boyfriend would stop trying to fix the situation.

At the Metro Court rooftop restaurant, the Aurora Media CEO made a scene during Dr. Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) and Dr. Portia Robinson’s (Brook Kerr) dinner date. The couple had also just declared their love for each other before the interruption.

Curtis Ashford accused the transplant surgeon of covering up his involvement in the car crash. Dr. Gannon was then punched into a table after accusing the Ashford patriarch of wanting him out of Dr. Robinson and her baby’s life and insisting that he’d be a better father than the hotheaded media mogul could ever be.

Dr. Robinson was mortified and appalled by the assault and rushed to her partner’s side. Curtis Ashford smugly justified his actions, while Gannon angrily maintained his innocence, cradling his hand.

When newly hired PCPD Detective Joe Fitzpatrick (Jonathan Bennett) arrived with questions, he arrested the perpetrator at the couple’s urging and arranged for medical care to be sent to the General Hospital surgeon.

After arriving at the hospital, a frustrated Dr. Gannon looked over scans of his injuries and told his girlfriend, “That bastard destroyed my hand,” referring to Curtis Ashford. Dr. Robinson was quick to lend her support but admitted that her love did bait her ex-husband.

Gannon took responsibility for his comment, but also asserted that the extreme reaction from the former private investigator proved him correct. The attending physician later confirmed the existence of 11 fractures and two severed wrist tendons, which would require extensive surgeries. Dr. Gannon struggled to process the news.

Curtis Ashford was brought into the PCPD by Detective Fitzpatrick. During questioning by Acting Police Commissioner Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), he tried to downplay his actions and the need for police intervention, instead seeking to redirect the focus to Gannon’s supposed culpability in the infamous car accident.

Falconeri informed the Aurora Media CEO that he would need a lawyer or someone to bail him out of jail. He called his girlfriend, hoping that she could get a hold of Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson), but the recovering burn victim came herself despite her shock at his arrest.

Jordan Ashford admonished her boyfriend for attacking Dr. Gannon, but the arrestee insisted that he had been pushed past his limits. He summarized the fight and anger that led to his actions. Despite the obvious concern and questioning about how hurt Dr. Gannon was, the former police commissioner ultimately helped Curtis Ashford post bail.

When the duo arrived home, the media mogul apologized for causing his scarred partner to go out in public before she was ready. The SRE Worldwide COO was grateful that she got to prove her ability to step back out into the world.

Their conversation later shifted to Curtis Ashford’s desire to get ahead of public relations at Aurora Media before news of his arrest broke, but Jordan Ashford believed that her friend, ADA Turner, would show leniency given the pressure everyone had been under after the car wreck.

Viewers can watch “General Hospital” Monday through Friday, airing on ABC at 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. EST.
