Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) got off the phone outside of the General Hospital atrium and laid eyes on Dr. Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) feeling Dr. Portia Robinson’s (Brook Kerr) baby bump. The loving couple had just come from Dr. Robinson’s latest natal appointment.

The former General Hospital Chief-of-Staff then offered empathy concerning Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) once the Aurora CEO walked in, and then shared a positive pregnancy update and sonogram with her ex, who was surprised to learn she had a checkup.

Sensing the tension, Gannon stepped away to make a call as his partner explained to her former husband that she had taken advantage of a sudden appointment opening and didn’t want to take his attention off Jordan Ashford by needing him for a routine check up.

Curtis Ashford understood but wanted the ability to make his own choice in the future. The previously married pair then discussed how their unborn baby represented hope after the car wreck.

In her hospital room, Jordan Ashford thanked Felicia Jones (Kristina Wagner) for helping her handle hospital paperwork. When the patient advocate suggested a trauma support group, the SRE Worldwide COO declared that such measures were unnecessary.

Later, Dr. Gannon paid his ex a visit and offered to translate any medical information. Instead, the former police commissioner was focused on her potential scarring even as the transplant doctor insisted that she’d have the best plastic surgeon at her disposal.

Jordan Ashford began spiraling while imagining how people would react to her face during the long road to recovery, and her boyfriend walked in just as she screamed at Gannon to leave.

As Gannon exited the hospital room, the former private investigator was eager to make sure his rival hadn’t upset Jordan Ashford, but she admitted that her anger had been unwarranted.

In truth, she was simply feeling suffocated by well-wishers and she wanted space. Understanding, Curtis Ashford left — but not before reiterating that he would be there for the former police commissioner no matter what.

Later, Curtis Ashford confronted an apologetic Dr. Gannon and told him to stay away from his girlfriend, saying that he was not her friend and did not understand her.  

A pained Jordan Ashford ran into Dr. Robinson while struggling to walk around the hospital atrium. When the doctor tried to offer some assistance, Jordan Ashford grew snappy again, demanding that her foe not offer civility out of pity.

Jordan Ashford insisted that Robinson not treat her any differently than usual. Robinson admitted that she didn’t like her adversary and that they’d never be friends, but her concern was real.

Despite Jordan Ashford’s continued hostility, Dr. Robinson thought the former police commissioner needed to accept support — especially from Curtis Ashford. The former General Hospital Chief-of-Staff also wanted to get along going forward given that they would all be in her baby’s life.

Curtis Ashford continued to demand for Dr. Gannon to stay away from his partner as the medical professional asserted to him that dictating Jordan Ashford’s friendships or picking fights wasn’t helpful. The Aurora CEO then stormed off.

He later found Jordan Ashford getting some air and she asked him to stay because she needed support. He offered reassurance about her ability to handle the long road to recovery.

Dr. Robinson later met up with her lover, who was doubtful peace would last within their circle given his latest run-in with her ex-husband. The duo also compared notes on Jordan Ashford being “mad at the world,” because of the damage the car accident had caused.

The doctors decided to keep their distance from their nemeses while the SRE Worldwide COO processed her new reality. Ready to change focus, Gannon invited Robinson back to his cabin for some private time together.
