At the Ashford apartment, Stella Henry (Vernée Watson) was stunned to find a pregnancy test while rifling through the purse of Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper). She attempted to ask Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) about it, but was interrupted by his work call. She lost her courage and hastily left.

Later, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) visited her father and explained the awkward encounter she and Dr. Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) had with Jordan Ashford at the nail salon. She was happy to report that all remained civil.

The Aurora CEO was grateful that his daughter was continuing to “Embrace the new normal” and revealed that he would be moving in with his girlfriend. Trina Robinson gave her blessing, and the duo expressed their excitement for the new baby, though the Jerome Gallery assistant admitted to a slight jealousy toward her unborn sibling. Curtis Ashford assured her that his heart was big enough for both his children.

Meanwhile, at the nail salon, Dr. Robinson confronted Jordan Ashford about her possible pregnancy and saw past any deflections. Portia Robinson scolded her former rival for her hypocrisy over how she handled her pregnancy secret and declared that, by contrast, she wouldn’t blab to Curtis. The doctor then picked up her stuff and left.

Henry later called the SRE Worldwide COO and insisted that they meet at General Hospital, telling her that her day was about to get longer.

When Henry confronted her nephew’s partner about the potential pregnancy, Jordan Ashford explained that she hadn’t confirmed yet and had reservations given how high-risk it would be. The former nurse advised her to stop living in limbo and tell Curtis Ashford so that she wouldn’t have to face things alone. Jordan Ashford went off to get another test and came back looking simultaneously stunned and relieved.

Portia Robinson stormed into the hospital lounge, flustered, where her partner, Dr. Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson), was waiting and eager to know what was wrong. She stunned her lover by revealing that Jordan Ashford was likely pregnant.

While she had the urge to expose the former police commissioner to Curtis Ashford in revenge, she ultimately was more concerned with keeping the peace with her ex-husband. Dr. Gannon asked how she ultimately felt about this second alleged pregnancy.

Dr. Robinson assured him that she wasn’t jealous, just annoyed at the hypocrisy. Gannon was surprised that the pregnancy wasn’t planned, and the couple speculated that perhaps Jordan Ashford would want to end it before telling Curtis Ashford.

Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) and Trina Robinson hung out with Giovanni Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) and Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) at the Brown Dog after having just seen “Singin’ in the Rain.” Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) looked on, trying to reconcile her normal life with that of a WSB agent.

The quad was happy to see their friend after so long, even though Jacks was “Busy with school.” Trina Robinson disclosed that she would be singing at the Charlie’s Pub open mic night soon, and her secret agent friend hoped to be there but hastily thought up an excuse to leave after spotting WSB agents Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) and Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna).

Trina Robinson wanted to walk her roommate out and was surprised Cullum knew Jacks. After making an excuse for the interesting encounter, Jacks left, and Trina Robinson returned to her other friends.

Later, the art history major and her boyfriend hung out by the jukebox to engineer some alone time for Palmieri and Scorpio-Drake. Trina Robinson and Taylor enjoyed their couple time and shared a kiss.

Gannon asked Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) her opinion on which pair of earrings Portia Robinson would like. Webber was happy to help but wanted to know whether the transplant surgeon was okay with how quickly his relationship was moving. Dr. Gannon inspired her when he declared that life was too short not to chase what makes you happy.

Henry barged into Portia Robinson’s office to give her a reality check about Jordan Ashford. She explained how she helped the former police commissioner face the possibility of a pregnancy, but that it was indeed a false alarm.

She wanted the doctor to get past her hatred of Jordan Ashford. Portia Robinson defended the validity of disliking someone who constantly undermined her marriage, but, at her former aunt-in-law’s urging, conceded that her union with Curtis Ashford would’ve likely ended with or without the interference.

The hospital volunteer insisted that everyone needed to get along for the sake of the new baby and also suggested that Gannon might see his lover as still hung up on her ex. Dr. Robinson thanked Henry for the perspective, and when her boyfriend arrived, she explained the conversation she had with her former aunt-in-law.

Dr. Robinson was eager to let Gannon know that her feelings for her ex-husband were completely in the past, and the new couple was grateful they had each other and a meaningful relationship.

Jordan Ashford arrived home to Curtis Ashford. He asked how her day was, and she surprised him by revealing her possible pregnancy and why she had put off confirming it.

She was grateful for the ordeal, as it made her feel like family again when Henry meddled. She also let the former private investigator know about Dr. Robinson’s displeasure over the situation, but admitted to Curtis Ashford that the doctor didn’t owe her secrecy. Jordan Ashford was eager to remain on good terms from here on out.
