Before their yoga session, Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) and District Attorney Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) commiserated over their bad days. The SRE Worldwide COO was tense from attending Marco Rios’ (Adrian Anchondo) funeral with the ongoing enmity between Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).

The friends hoped that Sidwell would drop his vendetta and belief that Sonny Corinthos orchestrated his son’s murder. After their class, the district attorney blamed her poor fitness performance on concerns over the former police commissioner working for Sidwell. Jordan Ashford insisted that she liked her job because it allowed her to maintain a true work-life balance.

Across town, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and her boyfriend, Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup), visited Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) following a surprise summons from Stella Henry (Vernée Watson). While waiting for her great-aunt, the art enthusiast announced that she would sing at the Charlie’s Pub reopening.

When the Aurora CEO immediately started forming grand plans to support his daughter, she barred him from going. Trina Robinson admitted that she didn’t want a massive cheering section on top of her fear of bombing. Her dad and boyfriend, confident in her talents, dismissed the notion that she’d fail.

At General Hospital, Henry brought Dr. Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) “bribe” donuts ahead of her request to let the Ashford family visit the Robinson house to decorate the nursery for Dr. Robinson’s baby. The GH patient advocate insisted that this would build connection and belonging for a two-home child. The pregnant doctor reluctantly acquiesced.

Later, Dr. Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) updated his partner about attending the funeral. At the mention of Jordan Ashford, Portia Robinson revealed Henry’s idea. The transplant surgeon, incensed on his lover’s behalf, felt that she was put in an awkward position with her ex’s family holding sway over her life.

Dr. Robinson soon realized that she had been “worked” by her former aunt-in-law, but she was committed to keeping the peace. Gannon hugged her supportively.

Henry arrived at the Ashford apartment with the news that the whole family would get to decorate the baby’s nursery. Everyone loved the “inspired” idea, with Trina Robinson immediately workshopping designs which her family and boyfriend loved.

At Charlie’s Pub, Trina Robinson shared drinks with Taylor and her best friend, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), anxious about her upcoming performance. She later confided in Giovanni Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza), and he promised they would get through the night together.

Jordan Ashford returned home and learned about Henry’s nursery plan from Curtis Ashford. When she wondered if that meant reciprocal decorating at her apartment, her boyfriend said that it depended on her. She ultimately saw no problem with having his family and ex-wife over, and the couple voiced their mutual affection before preparing for a date night. The former police commissioner chose to drive.

Gannon unpacked takeout as Portia Robinson explained her preference for his cabin over her place for a cozy date, so they didn’t have as much risk of interruption. He noticed that his girlfriend wasn’t as happy about the nursery project as she’d first appeared.

Admitting that the Ashfords could be intrusive, Dr. Robinson stated that she appreciated her lover’s home as it provided them a place where they could be alone. She apologized for her baggage, and her boyfriend reaffirmed that he didn’t care.

Portia Robinson then revealed that she wouldn’t blame Gannon if he ended their relationship, but he remained steadfast and reassured her of his commitment, and the pair lamented about the luck of their union before making love.

In the afterglow, Dr. Gannon received a house call from Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins) to treat her son, Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr), who had an infected hand. Portia Robinson urged him to hurry back before he kissed her farewell.

Supported by Palmieri on the guitar, Trina Robinson mesmerized the Charlie’s Pub crowd with a beautiful love song as her father and his girlfriend drove toward their dinner reservation. Distracted by a kiss from the Aurora CEO, Jordan Ashford crashed their car.

Trina Robinson received congratulations from Jacks for her smash performance at Charlie’s Pub, and the bestie duo looked forward to performing together again at the Nurses Ball. Ava Jerome (Maura West) arrived with further compliments for her art protégé, who was touched by the wealth of support.

Jacks excused herself, bumping into Taylor, and she expressed approval over her bestie’s romance with the congressional intern. Trina Robinson thrilled her boss by agreeing to perform at Charlie’s Pub again.

When Jerome took her leave, Taylor wandered over to shower his lover with praise, telling her how amazing she was. Trina Robinson adored his affirmations, and Taylor then stated that he’d rather show her how incredible she was, giving her a kiss.

Later, the couple enjoyed a surprise song from Jacinda Bracken (Paige Herschell), but the former PCU quarterback insisted that his girlfriend still had the performance of the night.

Curtis Ashford and Jordan Ashford sat unconscious in the wreckage of their car crash. The former private investigator came to and was dismayed to see his girlfriend so badly injured.

Smelling a gas leak, he desperately tried but failed to awaken his companion or get her out of the vehicle. With his phone broken, he waved down a mysterious individual for help, who turned out to be wanted fugitive Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart).

Pressed for time, the two pulled Jordan Ashford out of the car seconds before it blew up. At the sound of the emergency vehicles he had called, Cassadine took off, while Curtis Ashford murmured encouragement to still-unconscious Jordan Ashford.

Dr. Gannon arrived for the Spencer house call and quickly diagnosed Falconeri with a staph infection. He advised a hospital visit but agreed to the mother-son duo’s preference for discretion.

After treating and advising Falconeri on wound care, Gannon brushed off Lulu Spencer’s thanks, citing his friendship with her brother, Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson). Gannon also warned the investigative reporter that, while he wouldn’t pry, hospital staff would be available should Falconeri need follow-up care.

The transplant doctor returned home to Portia Robinson, who was surprised her boyfriend had been gone so long and wasn’t at GH when she called to check on him. Gannon revealed that he had to make a house call to a private patient, whom he would have to monitor. Satisfied, his girlfriend beckoned him back into bed.

At Charlie’s Pub, Taylor joined Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) in praising their significant others, Palmieri and Trina Robinson, for their musical talents. The congressional intern offered his girlfriend a kiss in exchange for sending his recording of her singing to her father, and the core four then discussed overcoming stage fright.

Curtis Ashford and Jordan Ashford arrived at General Hospital with emergency personnel, alerting Head Nurse Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) and Dr. Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) that the former police commissioner required immediate medical attention. Webber later informed the Aurora CEO that they were working on his lover, who had stabilised.

Curtis Ashford called his daughter about the accident, causing her and Taylor to rush to his side. Trina Robinson was a supportive presence as Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) arrived to take her dad’s accident report. She called her mother, who was spending quality time with Gannon, to notify her about the emergency.

As Portia Robinson processed the situation aloud, she and Gannon decided against going to the hospital. Curtis Ashford remained at GH and chose to omit Cassadine’s aid from his witness statement, blaming the rapidity of the crisis for his vague memories. Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) also arrived at the hospital to support his friend and business partner.

Trina Robinson asked Webber to arrange a checkup for her father since he was too focused on Jordan Ashford to take care of himself. She, Taylor and Michael Corinthos looked on as Curtis Ashford gave his unconscious partner words of encouragement before she was wheeled away into surgery for internal bleeding near her kidney.

Curtis Ashford was still at the hospital as Mayor Laura Collins (Genie Francis) arrived for an update on Jordan Ashford. The Aurora CEO explained that his girlfriend had pulled through surgery, but many unknowns remained.

His friend assured him that he would not lose the love he’d just gotten back. Curtis Ashford worried he had made things worse during the accident, but the Port Charles mayor was certain he’d done all he could, which was extra impressive given he’d done it alone.

The media executive brushed off the memory of Cassadine assisting him and thanked Collins for her support just as Sidwell arrived and stole her attention. Curtis Ashford also received a visit from Jordan Ashford’s yoga buddy, Turner, who wanted to let him know how much the SRE Worldwide COO cared for him.

Later, he and the mayor watched Turner and Sidwell, and they talked about Jordan Ashford’s undercover work to expose the SRE Worldwide CEO. It made Collins wonder if the car wreck had been intentional, but the former private investigator was certain it was just a terrible accident — one he continued to agonize over.

Viewers can watch “General Hospital” Monday through Friday, airing on ABC at 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. EST.
