Paulina Price-Carver (Jackée Harry) received a call from EJ DiMera (Daniel Feuerriegel) informing her that Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) had issued a search warrant for the secret room at the DiMera mansion.
EJ DiMera and Price-Carver discussed the optics of the situation, and he practically blackmailed her into finding a way to shut down Hunter’s warrant. Later, Abe Carver (James Reynolds) spotted his wife at the Horton Town Square and questioned her about the anxiety she’d been experiencing.
The mayor once again hid the truth about what she’d been wrestling with, but then asked her husband if the next day he’d like to spend quality time together. Abe Carver informed her that he would be visiting Lexie Carver’s (Nikki Crawford) gravesite because of their wedding anniversary.
The former police commissioner remained in the dark about his deceased wife’s resurrection.

Detective Hunter decided to go and visit Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) in the hospital, who had recently been the victim of a shooting.
The duo shared a sweet, encouraging conversation, and Brady opened up to Hunter about how his recovery was going.
Meanwhile, Theo Carver (Tyler Joseph Andrews) talked with JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) about the shooting involving Brady. The friends discussed how Brady had been coping with what happened.

Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) and Chanel Dupree-DiMera (Raven Bowens) prepared for the adoption hearing of their son, Trey DiMera, excitedly talking about the cuteness of his “little suit.” The married duo discussed their future and the mistakes they made in their past.
Dupree-DiMera encouraged her husband to think more positively, and she supported him throughout their conversation. Dupree-DiMera and Johnny DiMera also got uplifting talks and counsel from EJ DiMera, who declared that he’d be representing them.
Dupree-DiMera and Johnny DiMera fought for their son and happily had the adoption of Trey DiMera finalized and confirmed at the hearing.
Later on, EJ DiMera ran into Price-Carver at the Brady Pub and played some coy mind games with her about the status of Lexie Carver’s return. It became increasingly clear how much this secret weighed on the mayor.
