Paulina Price-Carver (Jackée Harry) offered some encouragement and uplifting advice to Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) as she worried about Stephanie Johnson-Kiriakis’ (Abigail Klein) safe return.
Meanwhile, Johnson-Kiriakis was rescued and admitted to Salem University Hospital after Detective Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) arrested the man who was responsible for her kidnapping, Owen Kent (Wes Ramsey). Hunter and Johnson-Kiriakis, best friends, shared a warm and emotional moment in the hospital.
Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) discovered that no one was in the hospital chamber where newly resurrected Lexie Carver (Nikki Crawford) had previously been. Hernandez informed Price-Carver that Dr. Wilhelm Rolf’s (Richard Wharton) pod was empty upon his arrival, to Price-Carver’s shock.

Theo Carver (Tyler Joseph Andrews) and JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) decided to get some drinks at the Brady Pub on St. Patrick’s Day.
Theo Carver spotted an old classmate, Liam Selejko (Hank Northrop), at the pub, and joined him so they could catch up. Theo Carver questioned Selejko about his past misdeeds and choices.
Trying to offer some insight, Theo Carver encouraged his former friend to get his act together for the sake of his son.

Abe Carver (James Reynolds) and Deveraux shared a heart-to-heart about how thankful they were that Theo Carver was back after all they had been through. Price-Carver joined her husband for dinner at the Brady Pub, and she briefly discussed EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) and his plan for the hospital pods.
The mayor avoided mentioning Lexie Carver or any knowledge she had about what DiMera and Dr. Rolf were up to. Price-Carver was so upset about what was happening that she no longer wanted to have dinner.
Abe Carver reminded his wife that she could always turn to him for support, and she said that as long as they were together, everything would be okay. Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) asked Abe Carver if he was concerned about Price-Carver, and the former police commissioner said that his wife hadn’t been acting like herself lately.
Later, DiMera confirmed to Price-Carver that Lexie Carver had been moved to a safe, secure facility since the search at the hospital. DiMera visited Lexie Carver, and she was still unconscious and on oxygen in the facility’s bed.
