GH Recap: Kai is Questioned by the PCPD, Trina Agrees to Sing at Charlie's Pub and More

Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) arrived at her former home, where her parents, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Dr. Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr), informed her of their wish to sell the house and say goodbye to it as a family. Trina Robinson worked through her complicated feelings toward the potential sale while her mom and dad insisted they would always be a family even under their new dynamic.
At the PCPD, Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) met with District Attorney Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor), Police Chief Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Detective Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) regarding the unsolved shooting of Congressman Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison). Taylor answered their questions regarding the possibility that Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) could’ve had a key to Cain’s house.
After helping lead the legal trio into deciding whether to declare the case cold or not, Taylor was free to go. Next, he went to the office of newly-appointed Congresswoman Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen). After asking about her husband and giving the new politician the latest update on the case, Taylor offered to help Congresswoman Cain transition her team. Instead, she shocked him with an offer to keep his internship under her leadership.
While Curtis Ashford led realtor Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) through a tour of the house, Trina Robinson expressed her sadness at seeing her family home reduced to a piece of real estate. When the CEO of Aurora Media returned downstairs, he overheard his ex-wife and their daughter reminiscing and reaffirming that they were still pursuing their dream of expanding the family, even under unexpected circumstances.
Cheered up by her mother’s words, Trina Robinson left to meet up with Taylor. She was shocked to learn that her boyfriend wanted to keep his internship and accept the danger of keeping an eye on an attempted murderer.
Meanwhile, Dr. Robinson was likewise surprised when her former flame, affected by the conversation he’d eavesdropped on, declared that he no longer wanted to sell the house when it was time to sign the paperwork.

Portia Robinson wanted to know why she and her ex-husband were no longer on the same page about selling the house. Curtis Ashford declared his new wish to sign the house entirely over to her.
He cited her love for the house and apologized for his part in the downfall of their marriage, ultimately expressing a desire to have their unborn child raised in a place where they could put down strong roots of love. Touched, Robinson overcame her resistance to the idea and thanked the former private investigator for his generosity.
Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) visited Dr. Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) at General Hospital over the possibility that she might be pregnant and eventually went home to contemplate taking a pregnancy test. When Curtis Ashford arrived, Jordan Ashford learned of her lover’s decision to leave the house to the expecting Dr. Robinson and awkwardly snuck glances at the test in her purse while he enthused about his next shot at fatherhood.
Portia Robinson shed happy tears as she walked through her home and called Dr. Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) to ask him over. At the same time, Jordan Ashford asked Curtis Ashford to move in with her.

Jordan Ashford outlined why she wanted her reignited love to move in, and Curtis Ashford was enthusiastic about spending more time with her while determined not to rush things. He assured the SRE Worldwide COO that she was not a rebound and that he was determined to make their relationship work this time.
Though she deflected when Curtis Ashford asked about her lab work, Jordan Ashford was equally effusive in what their second chance at romance meant to her. The couple shared their mutual excitement about moving forward as the untested pregnancy test continued to loom over them.
At her “new” house, Portia Robinson revealed to Gannon that Curtis Ashford had signed over his half of the property to her. The handsome doctor was suspicious of potential motives behind such generosity. Would Curtis Ashford use this as an opportunity to place his ex-wife in his debt or control?
The expecting mother chose to give her ex the benefit of the doubt but asserted that she would not let anyone dictate her life. Placated, Gannon sweet-talked Dr. Robinson, leading to kisses and a sweet embrace as the couple admired the view of the ocean from the window.
While Gannon was regretful over his partner no longer living with him, the doctor insisted that they could take turns having sleepovers at each other’s residences. Portia Robinson punctuated the idea that it wasn’t awkward to make new memories in a house she used to live in by sharing a kiss with Gannon.

Hanging out with their friends at the Surf Lodge, Taylor and Trina Robinson admired photos of Giovanni Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) and Emma Scorpio-Drake’s (Braedyn Bruner) dog, Fizz. They expressed their sympathy for Scorpio-Drake and her current family crisis with her grandmother, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).
When Scorpio-Drake finally arrived with complaints about their apartment management’s policy against dogs, the congressional intern harnessed his legal savvy to suggest they get Fizz certified as an emotional support animal. Trina Robinson admired her boyfriend’s knowledge and serenaded him with “Happy Birthday” when a celebratory cupcake was delivered for him.
Impressed by Trina Robinson’s voice, her partner and friends encouraged her to seize more opportunities to sing. Palmieri suggested the upcoming Open Mic Night at Charlie’s Pub. After some hesitation and hype from her friends — particularly Taylor’s memories of being mesmerized by her at the Nurses’ Ball — Trina Robinson accepted the invitation, and the entire restaurant met her with applause.
“General Hospital” airs on ABC at 3 p.m. EST Monday through Friday.
