At the Metro Court, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) greeted friends Mayor Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) before meeting with Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) to ask if she’d represent him in his upcoming assault trial. As she was declining, the Aurora CEO learned that Dr. Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) was suing him and had asked for the lawyer’s services.
The Ashford patriarch still wanted the attorney, given that she’d also refused Gannon’s request, but Davis still considered it a conflict of interest — particularly when Dr. Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) would be called to the stand. Davis still felt bad about her role in Dr. Robinson’s last explosive witness testimony.
This made the media mogul feel less confident in his case, but he laid out his strategy for making his victim look unsympathetic by proving that he’d been the callous “other driver” in the Ashford car accident. The attorney cautioned that this plan could backfire due to a lack of evidence and make Curtis Ashford look like a spurned ex-husband trying to take out his rival.
Meanwhile, Dr. Robinson found her lover in a General Hospital meeting room after he’d finished lining up his replacement at work. He acknowledged that he was staying at the hospital in a consultant capacity, with the option to return to the surgical team should his hand heal. This helped the former hospital chief of staff remain optimistic.
The transplant surgeon explained that, because of his hand injury, he felt something vital had been stolen from him. Dr. Robinson validated these feelings and held her ex-husband accountable for what his violence caused.
Gannon then revealed his plans to sue the former private investigator. While Dr. Robinson feared the fallout for herself and her children, she felt his pursuit of justice was justified. Dr. Robinson only asked that he hold off for a couple of months. Gannon agreed, and the two shared a passionate kiss.
Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) left Bobbie’s, ready to take on a day of errands ahead of the art historian’s baby shower for her mother. The political intern grew concerned when his girlfriend received a call and declined a hard-to-get rehearsal space because of her sense of obligation to her feuding parents. He urged Trina Robinson not to be unfair to herself by putting everyone else over her own needs.
The young Robinson felt it was her duty to advance familial peace, but Taylor explained that it wasn’t her responsibility or even within her control, so she should instead focus on her upcoming music showcase. The singer grew excited talking about performance ideas and had her fears of failure allayed by her boyfriend.
Ultimately, Trina Robinson decided to still forgo rehearsing to focus on the baby shower but assured Taylor she’d put her all into the showcase once the family event was over.

Trina Robinson admired her and her boyfriend’s decorative work at the Metro Court ahead of her mother’s baby shower. She discharged Taylor from his “boyfriend duties” as Stella Henry (Vernée Watson) arrived, followed by Dr. Gannon and Dr. Robinson.
The injured transplant surgeon told the young lovers how pleased he was that the Quartermaine family had financed the transport and surgery for his former patient, Derek. Taylor was glad to hear that the Port Charles University football fan he had bonded with was doing well post-surgery before departing.
Henry apologized to the doctor duo for the awkwardness of having the party at the same place where they last had drama with her nephew, but the couple assured her they merely wanted to celebrate — not have anyone stressed over last-minute venue changes.
Jordan Ashford met with Curtis Ashford at the hospital following her latest checkup. The SRE Worldwide COO wondered if her love was going to be late to the baby shower, and he put the ball in her court. She was uncertain if she was ready to face their family and friends.
Henry greeted her friend, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot), and the two discussed the awkwardness between Curtis Ashford and Portia Robinson and their current partners. The hospital patient advocate was optimistic that no fights would break out at a baby shower, just as her nephew and his girlfriend arrived.
After greeting his aunt and daughter, the Aurora Media executive had to be nudged into greeting his pregnant ex-wife. The two exchanged niceties as Dr. Gannon chatted with Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) and mentioned his desire to have his day in court.
While baby shower games were being set up, Gannon greeted Jordan Ashford. From her icy reception, he realized that she shared her partner’s belief that Gannon was the other driver who’d left her to die post-car wreck. Before he could protest, Curtis Ashford stepped in to scold his rival and draw his girlfriend away.
Portia Robinson was amused as she tried to match which of her guests — including Webber, Quartermaine and Ava Jerome (Maura West) — authored which guesses for her baby’s first words. Things then grew tense when her ex-husband and current boyfriend both put down “Dada.”
Later on, Dr. Robinson thanked her eldest child for planning the baby shower as Curtis Ashford seethed at the idea of his child calling Gannon any fatherly nickname. The transplant surgeon stated that the baby would need a stable, nonviolent male presence in its life, which wasn’t the Aurora Media CEO.
Henry, Jordan Ashford, Trina Robinson and Portia Robinson joined the argument as the Ashford patriarch threatened his adversary with another punch if he didn’t be quiet. His ex-wife scolded him for his inability to hold his temper and told him, “I gave Trina a gift by not letting you raise her,” to the shock of the entire room.

Henry, Trina Robinson and Jordan Ashford tried to deescalate the argument as Curtis Ashford continued trading barbs with Dr. Robinson and Dr. Gannon, but tensions remained high. The feuding exes’ daughter finally left, and her great-aunt began a lecture.
She wanted the former married couple to stop keeping score, or their children would be the only ones to lose. The former private investigator claimed he had done everything to meet Dr. Robinson halfway and that the source of the strife was her current boyfriend.
The former General Hospital chief of staff called out her ex for his need to punish her and Gannon. As the media mogul threw Dr. Gannon and Dr. Robinson’s affair back in their faces, the expectant mother urged her ex-husband to take responsibility for his and Jordan Ashford’s roles in the dissolution of the marriage.
The SRE Worldwide COO refused to accept blame but instead clarified her and Curtis Ashford’s trauma from the car accident, which they still held Gannon accountable for. The surgeon maintained his innocence and his frustration at the drama being perpetrated against him, no matter how hard he worked to just support his girlfriend.
He asserted that he had his career derailed by a broken hand — a direct result of their accusations. Dr. Robinson then announced that, aside from having her OBGYN provide appointment updates, she did not want her ex-husband to contact her, and he was astounded as she walked away with Gannon.
Later, Henry took her nephew to task for continuing to escalate tension and landing himself assault charges. He looked chastened as she pointed out that he was providing fuel for a lawsuit and had himself to blame. Henry took her leave after expressing her sorrow for the situation.
Curtis Ashford then tried to process Dr. Robinson’s accusation that he wasn’t a good father, but his girlfriend assured him the opposite was true, thinking his ex-wife was out of line and being hurtful.
At the Quartermaine Lake, Taylor arrived with snacks, interrupting a romantic moment between Giovanni Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) and Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner). The political intern understood that they had gotten “carried away,” wishing he could do the same with Trina Robinson.
The trio then talked about the upcoming musical showcase until, to their surprise, the singer herself arrived. Trina Robinson discussed how the baby shower had been a “bloodbath” but it was the epiphany she needed to know that her boyfriend was right to be concerned and that taking on her parents’ issues wasn’t worth her time and energy.
Her friends and boyfriend supported her as she announced that she was done putting herself last. Now, she was going to focus on the showcase with Palmieri, and the core four was excited as she stood tall on the boathouse bench to share her declaration.
Viewers can watch “General Hospital” Monday through Friday, airing on ABC at 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. EST.
