Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) needled her way into Dr. Portia Robinson’s (Brook Kerr) home to ask the former General Hospital Chief of Staff to go easy on Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) in his upcoming criminal trial for assaulting Dr. Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson). The expectant mother made it clear that she would tell the truth when called to the witness stand for both the main trial and the civil suit.

Dr. Robinson was unfazed by the former SRE Worldwide COO’s supposed plea for peace, and she supported her boyfriend’s pursuit of justice since the incident had cost him his career. Jordan Ashford was furious, believing that her adversary was ungrateful for “the good things” Curtis Ashford had done.

Exhausted, Dr. Robinson demanded that her unwanted guest leave, annoyed by the incessant “stand by my man act.” The two continued to trade barbs about each other’s choices and current relationships.

Jordan Ashford accused the doctor of vindictively instigating all the drama between everyone, while Portia Robinson was tired of being the only one expected to face consequences for mistakes. When Dr. Robinson was finally able to get the former deputy mayor to leave, she was immediately overcome by labor pains.

Meanwhile, Dr. Gannon was pleasantly surprised to see Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) at Bobbie’s, glad that the OB-GYN was back in town in time for the birth of Dr. Robinson’s child. Westbourne was shocked given her current status as a town pariah, but the transplant surgeon felt that her legal troubles were none of his business.

When Westbourne immediately began arguing with new Port Charles resident, Dr. Tristan Roberts (Dean Geyer), over the rented room above Bobbie’s, Gannon attempted to play peacemaker.

Later, Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) visited the Cain house to pick up a childcare proposal, unaware that Congresswoman Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) had been ranting at her husband, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), for interfering with her attempts to keep him in his current locked-in syndrome-induced state.

When the congresswoman left to grab the necessary documents, Taylor was shocked to see his former employer knock something over. By the look on Drew Cain’s face, Taylor realized that this newfound mobility was supposed to be kept secret. When Congresswoman Cain returned, the political intern took the blame for the fallen bag and left.

As Dr. Robinson tried and failed to overcome her labor pains enough to reach her phone, her agonized cries alerted Jordan Ashford, who was still nearby, that she needed help. Though the recovering burn victim called 911, it was quickly apparent that the baby would be arriving first.

The former police commissioner was scared at the idea of delivering the baby, but the pair realized that there was no other choice. The former General Hospital Chief of Staff talked Jordan Ashford through the process, eventually resulting in the triumphant birth of a beautiful baby boy.

Stella Henry (Vernée Watson) met with Curtis Ashford at the Metro Court pool. Aware of her great-niece’s need for space from her parents, Henry wanted her nephew to know that Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) music showcase was that night.

The Aurora Media CEO was grateful for the news but still disheartened by the way his feud with his ex-wife had affected their daughter. Nevertheless, his aunt was hopeful that everyone could come together in peace once the baby arrived.

Remembering that his assault trial loomed, Curtis Ashford knew that any truce would be short-lived, especially because he refused to take a plea deal. The media mogul later ran into Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and finally thanked the former fugitive for helping him and Jordan Ashford during the infamous car accident.

Henry later noticed that Westbourne was troubled and asked about her well-being. Westbourne was grateful for the patient advocate and let her know that her kindness at the hospital had always been appreciated. Henry was then frank about the unlikelihood of the OB-GYN getting her job back after her latest disappearing act.

Returning to their previous conversation, the Aurora Media CEO told his aunt that Cassadine had assisted him during the car wreck and admitted that his hopes had been dashed when the former fugitive failed to spot Dr. Gannon on the road. Henry advised her nephew to let the police handle the investigation and focus on his baby instead.

Meanwhile, Trina Robinson was blown away to be at a professional recording studio with Giovanni Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) and Brook Lynn Quartermaine-Chase (Amanda Setton). The art history major was so nervous that Palmieri had to talk her out of a panic.

The duo then met the music executives before beginning their showcase. Accompanied by Palmieri on the guitar, the art historian began to sing.

Sensing that Trina Robinson was holding back, A&R executive, Simon (Grady Eldridge), asked for a repeat performance with a few suggestions. She took the notes and then delivered a successful performance.

Taylor and Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) hung out at the Metro Court pool while anxiously awaiting news from their romantic partners about the showcase. They discussed their hopes for Trina Robinson and Palmieri.

Trina Robinson and Palmieri shared their good news with Taylor and Scorpio-Drake, rejoicing about being offered a record deal. They recounted everything that happened during their showcase experience, from nerves to their success. The music duo also revealed their next steps: curating a set and opening for one of their label’s established bands.

At General Hospital, Jordan Ashford updated Henry and Curtis Ashford about Portia Robinson’s successful birth. The former private investigator was then excited to walk into the hospital room and see his joyous ex-wife holding their son. She handed him the baby as he introduced himself as the father.

As Dr. Gannon clocked in, Henry let him know that his girlfriend had given birth. He was eager to see her, but the patient advocate advised him to give the new parents space first.

Later, Trina Robinson received a phone call and was elated to tell her boyfriend and friends that she had officially become a big sister. She and Taylor then rushed off to the hospital to be with the family.

Dr. Robinson recapped her unconventional birth story, and then Curtis Ashford wondered about baby names. The Aurora Media CEO then grew annoyed when Dr. Gannon popped in.

Curtis Ashford later asked his rival to leave for the “private moment.” The transplant surgeon understood and still gave the former married couple congratulations first.

When Trina Robinson and Taylor made it to the hospital, the joy, gratitude and congratulations continued between the entire family. A truce even seemed to be forming between the former SRE Worldwide CEO, Dr. Robinson and Dr. Gannon due to the baby.

The Jerome Gallery assistant was ecstatic to meet her baby brother and admired him as her parents explained that they were still deciding on a name. Later, she recapped the experience to her lover. Taylor was thrilled that the day had been so magical for Trina Robinson, between the record deal and her new baby brother.

During her turn to meet the baby, Henry hoped that the new arrival would be Dr. Robinson and Curtis Ashford’s wake-up call to put their drama behind them and prioritize their son.

Having just found out her best friend was recovering from a serious gunshot wound, Trina Robinson rushed to Josslyn Jacks’ (Eden McCoy) hospital room and demanded to know what was going on. Her roommate was glad to hear about the arrival of the art historian’s baby brother, but Trina Robinson would not be deterred from asking Jacks for the truth after months without hearing from her.

When Jacks revealed herself as a WSB agent and her journey into the role, Trina Robinson was appalled that she’d been recruited in grief and lied to everyone she loved. After an in-depth conversation, the art history major was glad to have an actual explanation for the distance that had been growing in their relationship.

The duo wondered how they could salvage their friendship now that they were both in such different places in life, but ultimately decided to try. Trina Robinson set a boundary about the two not lying to each other and chose “popcorn” as a code word for any WSB business that Jacks could not discuss.

Viewers can watch “General Hospital” Monday through Friday, airing on ABC at 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. EST.
